Sea Bass

We made sea bass on Bu's BD and it was lovely. Bought the fish half price from Sains. We're usually quite disappointed when we go out for dinner and so ended up cooking at home; which I'm glad of because I don't think we would have enjoyed our meal otherwise.

Sea Bass

Fortunately, they clean the fish well from the counter, so it was very easy to prepare and cook.

Rub fish with garlic on both sides, stuff fish with slices of lemon, capers (if you have!)and some herbs (we used dill and parsley this time), season with salt and pepper. Drizzle some olive oil on top. Cover with foil, 200 degrees c, and bake for 20 minutes, remove foil and cook for a further 20 min.

Potatoes

Peel and cut potatoes into wedges. Blanch potatoes and then pan fry for 15 to 20 min, seasoned with salt and pepper.

Purple Sprouting Broccoli

This is a lovely veg, if you've never tried it I recommend you give it a go.

Heat some olive oil, throw in brocolli and fry for 2-3 min, season, and add a 3-4 tablespoons of water. Cover, lower heat and steam for 10 min. You can squeeze some lemon juice on it if you wish.
